The length of the Pedestrian Overhead Bridge is around 113m long and it consists 4 beams. Out of which, the longest span is about 36.3m. The challenges of this project is to carry out the construction of bridge works just below Telok Blangah Viaduct, The overall total construction period of the bridge is about 6 months.

The PSPC beam of this new Pedestrian Overhead Bridge is recycled from an existing bridge at Pasir Panjang. After cutting away the over length and modifications to the existing beam, the beam is being launched to the new location, forming the new overhead bridge. From removal of existing bridge beam to modification to relocation of the overhead bridge, the entire process used a total span of 4 months only.
